Abstract

Gaudiya Kutir, Inc. is a non-profit corporation registered in Alachua, Florida, United States, on June 27th, 2005. The specific purpose for which the corporation is registered is A Gaudiya Vaishnava religious ministry. Our EIN is 20-3171660. The paperwork for gaining tax-excempt status is currently being processed.

Purposes

The organization shall specifically act towards the furthering of the following goals in the scope of traditional Gaudiya Vaishnavism:

Membership

The membership consists of the board of directors.

The Board of Directors

The board of directors is elected for a term of one year, and shall consist of a minimum of four members acting as the four officers, namely: (1) president, (2) vice-president, (3) secretary and (4) treasurer. The president and the vice-president must be diksha-initiated traditional Gaudiya Vaishnavas.

All members of the board are required to complete a Statement of Disclosure on their relationship and allegiance with the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition.

The four officers shall act as the executive committee of the organization, subject to the direction and control of the full board. Board meetings shall be held no less than twice in a fiscal year. In absence of facility for physical meeting, Internet messaging systems may be employed to hold the meeting.

The board shall receive no compensation other than reasonable expenses.
